Planning permission was secured within the Green Belt for 86 new apartments and houses, a re-arranged health centre car park and a large new public park.
The lands had become surplus to the requirements of the adjoining health centre and it was successfully argued to the local authority that the redevelopment was represent a more efficient use of previously developed land in the Green Belt.
