Following successful representations on the new Dublin City Development Plan and the Liberties Local Area Plan to ensure these planning policy documents supported the client’s objectives, planning permission was secured for the regeneration of this 1.5 hectare site adjoining the Guinness Brewery for c. 20,000 sq. m of mixed use development including Digital office floorspace, student accommodation and a new 181 bedroom hotel as well other retail, commercial and cultural uses. The development included the refurbishment of the existing Protected Windmill structure.
