Despite the local industrial site designation, planning permission was secured to redevelop two existing industrial sites for 264 residential units and 9,000 sq. m of light industrial and flexible SME office floorspace within buildings up to 11 storeys in height.

The proposals were sensitively designed within the setting of a number of listed buildings, Conservation Areas and protected views.
